I don’t know one person who hasn’t had to go through the journey of finding their true selves, all the while battling the lies that aim to define us. What is a man…a “real” man…a gentleman? A woman…a “queen”…a LADY? I’m still constructing mai definitions.

And although I am presently a very full-­‐grown woman with a world of experiences, at times I sense the girl in me still trying to grow into a LADY. I am and will always be a work in progress. A LADY constantly in the making.

This corner of cyber-­‐space is definitely not meant to be a “let me tell you what YOU need to do” type of place. Honestly, I got more questions than answers. This ongoing journey is filled with lessons that will transcend gender, age, color, and creed. So ladies (…and gentlemen), consider this your invitation to lock pinkies with me as I walk that shaky-­‐legged-­‐do-­‐it-­‐afraid walk and talk that big-­‐dreams talk on this road full of the wonderful and the unexpected.
